What to have ready
You do not need any of this to call, but having it speeds up the quote considerably. Roughly how many square feet of lawn area. Whether the existing grass is mostly dead, thin, or fine to leave in place. Whether you want Bermuda, Zoysia or Centipede. And whether the yard holds water after a storm, since that changes both the price and the prep conversation.
What happens after you contact us
We call you back to confirm details and book an estimate window, usually within 24 to 48 hours. On site we measure the yard, check drainage, sun exposure and existing lawn condition, and recommend a grass type for your situation. You get a written flat price before we leave. If you approve it, we schedule — typically same week for most residential jobs.

Yes, and there is no deposit and no obligation. We come out, measure the yard, check drainage, sun exposure and existing lawn condition, and hand you a written flat price. If you decide not to proceed, you owe nothing. We would rather give ten honest estimates and win three than pressure anyone into work they do not need.
We can give you a useful range from texted photos, and for a simple, small repair that is often enough. The firm written price needs an on-site visit, because square footage, drainage and existing lawn condition are the three biggest cost drivers and photos hide all three.

Our posted hours are Mon–Sat 7:00am–7:00pm. Outside those hours, leave a voicemail or send a text and we pick it up first thing. Texts sent in the evening are usually answered before 8am the next working day, which is faster than most people expect.
Most residential sod jobs are same-week. Larger full-property renovations and commercial or HOA work run a little further out since we schedule crews around multiple properties. During peak spring and early-fall installation season everything stretches, so call early.
Only for the estimate and the final walkthrough. Once you have approved the price, most customers give us yard access and get on with their day. We text you on arrival, on completion, and immediately if anything unexpected turns up in the yard.
On completion, after you have walked the finished yard with us and confirmed you are satisfied. We accept card, check and bank transfer. Larger commercial and delivery-only orders may have staged terms, and those are always stated in writing on the quote before you agree.
Yes. Certificate of insurance, license number and W-9 on request, and we send them proactively for HOA and property-management work. Email info@atlantasod.net with your association name and we will get the paperwork over before the estimate.
Call and ask. For a larger commercial or multi-property job we will often make the drive slightly outside our normal fourteen communities. For small residential yards the trip usually does not make sense, and we will tell you that honestly rather than quote a padded price.
