Every sod service we offer in Atlanta

Sod work looks simple from the driveway. It is not. A full-property install involves reading the drainage on every section, matching grass type to sun exposure and traffic, and laying tight, staggered seams that actually knit together instead of gapping and browning by the following month. A Zoysia lawn that never fills in evenly was usually installed on ground that was never graded, or watered on the wrong schedule to begin with. Knowing which is which is the whole job.

Below is everything we handle. Each page covers what the work involves, real price ranges, how long it takes, and the questions homeowners actually ask us on site. If you are not sure which service you need, call (470) 719-1750 and describe your yard — we will tell you for free, even if the answer is that you do not need us yet.

Sod: installation and delivery

The bulk of what we do. Sod installation is our most requested job, whether that is a single dead patch or a full-property resod on a large lot. If you already have a crew or want to lay it yourself, bulk sod delivery gets fresh-cut material to your driveway the same day it is cut, not stockpiled and drying out on a pallet.

Renovation & repair

Full lawn renovation covers strip-and-resod for lawns too far gone for patching — extensive dead grass, grub or fungus damage, or a yard that was never graded right to begin with. Sod repair and patching handles smaller dead or damaged sections cut out and re-sodded to match, without the cost of a full renovation.

Grass types

Bermuda sod installation is the heat- and drought-tolerant default for full-sun Georgia yards. Zoysia sod installation gives a denser, more shade-tolerant lawn with a softer blade. Centipede sod installation is the low-maintenance choice bred for Georgia’s naturally acidic clay soil.

Prep & commercial

Lawn prep and grading is the work every good sod job depends on — grading, weed clearing and irrigation checks before sod ever ships. We also handle scheduled sod programs for HOAs, retail pads and multi-family properties within any of the eight service categories above.

Not sure what you need? Text a photo of your yard to (470) 719-1750. We will tell you which service applies and roughly what it costs, usually within the hour.

Questions

Sod service FAQs

That is sod repair and patching, even if it is only a couple hundred square feet. We price fairly for small jobs with a minimum trip charge, so a single-patch repair costs a fraction of a full-property renovation. If patches are showing up across the whole lawn at the same time, we will usually suggest a full renovation instead so new sod does not stand out against a failing lawn elsewhere.

Yes. Most of our volume is residential yards, but we also handle HOA common areas, community entrances and commercial landscape lawns. For commercial work we provide a certificate of insurance and W-9 before starting, and we can schedule around business hours where access requires it.

Almost always, and it saves you money. A very common combination is lawn prep and grading plus a full sod installation, or sod repair plus a broader lawn renovation on the same property. Bundling means one trip, one setup and one price rather than two separate service calls.

Push a finger into the soil near a bare or thin patch. If it is compacted, uneven, or still has live weeds under thin grass, prep needs to happen first. We check this on every estimate and itemize it separately, so you see exactly what is sod cost and what is prep cost.

Delivery means we bring fresh-cut pallets to your driveway and you or your crew lays it. Installation means our crew grades, lays in staggered rows with tight seams, and rolls the finished lawn for you, with the one-year warranty attached. Delivery-only costs less but skips the grading and seam-tightness check that keeps sod looking right through a full season.

We do not design landscapes or handle plantings, irrigation installation or tree work. We are a sod installation and delivery company, which means we work within an existing landscape plan. If you need a full redesign, we are happy to point you toward landscape designers we trust, and we will be here when the lawn needs sod.

Normally within the same week for most residential jobs. Larger full-property renovations and commercial or HOA work can run a little further out since we schedule crews across multiple properties. That stretches during peak spring and early-fall installation season. Calling earlier in the week generally gets you a better slot than calling Friday afternoon.

A one-year establishment warranty on every professional install — a standard sod-industry coverage type. If a lawn was graded wrong, seams were not laid tight, or something was missed, tell us and we come fix it. Sod that dies from a skipped watering schedule or an irrigation failure after handoff is not a workmanship issue, but we will always come look and tell you honestly which category it falls into.

No. Estimates are free and on site, because there is no honest way to price a sod job from a phone description alone. We measure the yard, check drainage, sun exposure and existing lawn condition, and hand you a written flat price. There is no deposit required to get that number and no obligation to book.

Everywhere in our service area at no trip charge: Atlanta, Decatur, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Peachtree Corners, Marietta, Smyrna, Vinings and Kennesaw. Outside that, call and ask — we sometimes make the drive for larger jobs.
